Gateway Valley Preserve
Overview
Welcome to Gateway Canyon Preserve. We are a Central Oregon upland bird hunting preserve located on Vibbert Ranch just 11 miles North of Madras, Oregon. With 1,268 acres of prime upland habitat we are centrally located, just a little more than an hour from Bend and only 127 miles from Portland, one day trips are possible from almost anywhere in the valley, or come for an overnight stay in our lodge here on the preserve or motel in Madras just 20 minutes away. We welcome hunters with their own dogs or guided hunts with us and our German Wirehaired Pointers. Our bird habitat is planted sorghum, natural grasses, weeds and cattails for pheasants, sage flats and grass for chukars. All of our terrain is easy to moderate to accommodate the abilities of any hunter. Please give us a call if you have any questions about hunting here at Gateway Canyon Preserve.
