Palmquist Farm
Overview
The Farm offers 800 private acres of hunting land and is surrounded by 10,000 public acres. Some of this land is managed for aspen production by county, state, and private timber companies. As grouse hunters well know, aspen clear-cut makes for excellent grouse habitat. Palmquist Farm will provide you with directions and maps to hunting areas both on and off The Farm. A licensed guide service is available by request. Your hunting dogs are always welcome. The season for grouse and woodcock hunting in Wisconsin is generally from mid-September till the end of the year. See the Wisconsin DNR for more information.
