South Dakota Non-Resident

I never knew how lucky I was to live in South Dakota for 4 years being able to pheasant hunt for the full season, for the price of 30 bucks. What a deal.

Now, living in Minnesota, I have a 10-day non-resident licence for the fee of $115. I am now considered an outsider and that hurts considering in 2006 I bought 3 pheasant hunting licenses. Yep, 3 x $115 = $345.

$115 for a South Dakota non-resident license seems expensive, but when you are hunting on prime pheasant hunting ground firing at some wild pheasants with your gun, the money will be forgotten.
