We are located in the heart of the best wild bird hunting in South Dakota. The combination of location and our farm practices -- leaving crops in the field for wild game feed, avoiding use of chemicals, planting trees, leaving plenty of grass nesting areas and putting in watering holes -- is paying off big. These acres make for excellent nesting; and with wild birds producing 10-12 chicks per pheasant hen, we do everything possible to help them reach maturity.

Be sure to bring along your cherished hunting assistant, as we have heated indoor/outdoor dog kennels readily available for the guides. We believe in offering great service and a great hunt at great rates therefore alcohol is not part of our package, or available for purchase, but you are welcome to bring your favorite beverage to enjoy after your days hunt.

The Circle H Ranch is located in the heart of the nation’s pheasant territory and spans over thousands of acres of prime hunting ground. Throughout the years, numerous tree belts and pheasant food plots have been added at the Ranch. This provides excellent nesting areas and ensures us a good and stable pheasant population each year.

Our birds know they have wings and they know how to use them. There is nothing like flushing a couple hundred of these WILD ringnecks at one time. Just the sight of this is worth the trip. Our pheasant hunts provide a perfect mix of great wingshooting, socializing with new & old friends, and some much needed rest & relaxation.

Big game hunts (elk,deer,antelope,bison) are available with a limited number of guaranteed tags. Spring turkey hunts can include up to five tags per hunt. Also available are pheasant hunts,grouse hunts,coyote hunts, and prairie dog shoots.

Family owned lodge and farm that has 4000 acres of some of the finest pheasant hunting ground in the country. Our family has always farmed and have had a few pheasant hunters in the last years. Joseph and I bought a 4000 square feet lodge with 5 bedrooms and can sleep up to 12. My brother is 15 and I am 22 and we were able to buy this house and 480 acres of farm ground to get started. We farm with our dad who has over 4000 acres. The goal of Joseph and I is gain another income source to the farm to become more diversified. The house sits on an 80 acre parcel and is surrounded by open rolling pastures and farms which provides a country setting with corresponding privacy but is less than three miles from the small town (about 1000 population) of Gregory. The house is just off the scenic southern route to the the South Dakota Black Hills and Mount Rushmore. The house is also located in the heart of South Dakota pheasant hunting and arrangements can be made with an outfitter for pheasant hunting with our house as your home base.

All of our hunts are exclusive hunts. We let you choose your own friends and who you want to hunt with. You are welcomed and encouraged to bring your own dogs, provided all shots are current.

Each hunt is customized according to the size and specific desires of the party. No group is too large or too small. While we may have two or three small parties in our lodge at one time, they are not mixed for hunting purposes.

At Sully Flats, we offer first class pheasant hunting. We are located in the heart of pheasant country in south central (Gregory County) South Dakota. Along with great pheasant hunting, we have a beautiful, modern lodge to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The lodge was designed to depict the history of the old west in our area. We can accommodate up to 22 hunters. Good hunting dogs are also welcome at our lodge.
